GR20 2026 season: refuge bookings are open — plan early

The 2026 GR20 season is officially open for planning: on 20 January 2026 the Parc naturel régional de Corse (PNRC) opened its online booking platform, pnr-resa.corsica, for the coming summer. If you intend to walk the trail this year, now is the time to fix your dates.
What's open, and when
The park's staffed refuges run roughly 16 May to 4 October 2026 (a few open earlier or later), and booking is mandatory for every night on the trail — bivouac pitches included. Wild camping is not allowed. Reservations are made only on the official platform; the most sought-after huts — Ortu di u Piobbu, Carrozzu and Usciolu — are the first to sell out on popular July and August dates.
Prices and rules
Rates rose again for 2026, and the park continues to tighten its booking rules to manage crowding on the busiest nights. Check the current tariffs and conditions on the official platform before you commit — and budget for every night, since there is no legal way to skip a booking on the GR20.
Plan before you book
The trap most hikers fall into is booking refuges before knowing which nights they can actually reach. Fix your daily stages first: our free planner splits the GR20 into realistic days around the real refuges for your fitness level, so you book the nights you can walk to — not the ones that were still available. See our refuge booking guide and how many days you need.
